For the ninth consecutive year, the Flying Tigers and Minor League Baseball are partnering with the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Ready Campaign and Citizen Corps Program to educate and empower Americans to prepare for and respond to emergencies including natural disasters and potential terrorist attacks. The Lakeland Flying Tigers are a minor league baseball team based in Lakeland, Florida. Home games are played at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium; opened in 1966 and most recently renovated in 2017. The park, which also doubles as the Detroit Tigers spring training home, seats 8,500 fans.
